XELA to Exhibit at RoboDEX 2026 in Tokyo

XELA Robotics, a provider of advanced tactile sensing technology, will exhibit at RoboDEX 2026 (International Robot Development & Application Expo), held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, Jan 21, through Friday, Jan 23.
At our booth, we will showcase a wide range of advanced sensing solutions, including robotic hands equipped with our signature 3-axis tactile sensors, designed to power the next generation of automation. We look forward to welcoming you to our booth.
Exhibition Highlights: The Future of Automation Powered by Tactile Sensing
Advanced Sensing Demonstrations
Experience XELA’s unique capabilities through live demonstrations using real-world robotic grippers:
- Weight & Slip Detection: The system instantaneously determines an object’s weight and applies the optimal grip force to prevent slipping.
- Fine Grasping Control: We will demonstrate advanced control technology that handles fragile objects with extreme gentleness and reliability.
- Latest Technical Innovations: Witness our evolved sensor designs that maintain ruggedness while delivering enhanced sampling frequencies, higher sensitivity and double-sided sensing capabilities.
Featured Technologies & Integrations
Building on our announcements from iREX 2025, we are debuting several new innovations at RoboDEX:
- Latest Integration with Tesollo DG-5F: A remarkably compact design featuring 12 3-axis sensing points on each fingertip, made possible by efficient wiring and onboard microcontrollers.
- New Feature: Object Hardness Measurement: A newly added capability that determines object hardness in real-time, opening new possibilities for material identification.
- “Paper Crane” Pick-and-Place Demo: Watch our robot accurately pick and place delicate paper cranes placed by users—without crushing or dropping them.
- FANUC CRX-5iA × uSkin: Discover the latest integration of XELA sensors with the FANUC CRX-5iA collaborative robot.
Official Website Renewal
In conjunction with RoboDEX 2026, we have completely renewed the XELA Robotics official website. The new site is designed to be more intuitive and user-friendly, providing easy access to the latest product information and technical documentation. We invite you to explore the new experience.
