This fingertip sensor is designed with sensors on two sides, while also being sensitive on the other three sides, as the inside and outside sensors measure shear forces. Despite its advanced functionality, the sensor remains thin (10.7 mm), and its surface layer can be easily replaced. Our uSkin Protect models are specifically designed for integration onto robotic grippers. These models are regular Patch Sensors, encapsulated for protection and fit the specific gripper. Additionally, the microcontroller is provided.

Sensors connect directly to uAi Software for visualization, calibration, and compensation, providing consistent tactile data across diverse applications.
